Bologna and Chievo disposed of their Serie B opponents this afternoon to progress in the Coppa Italia.

Struggling Bologna breezed into a 4-0 lead against Crotone, but they gave away two late goals and had Cesare Rickler sent off at the Dall’Ara.

Alessandro Diamanti opened the scoring from the spot before Crotone missed a 31st minute penalty of their own through Massimo Loviso.

Three goals in the space of 17 second-half minutes then put the Rossoblu in control, before they took their foot off the gas.

Meanwhile, at the Stadio Bentegodi, Chievo collected a 3-0 win over Modena thanks to a first-half brace from Fernando Uribe [pictured].
