Alessandro Diamanti has joined his third club in three years after leaving Brescia for Bologna.

The attacking midfielder, capped once by Italy, has signed for the Rossoblu on a co-ownership agreement following the Lombard club's relegation.

The 28-year-old, who started his career with Serie C2 side Prato in 1999, scored six goals in 32 League games for Brescia last term.

He joined the northern minnows on a five-year contract after a spell in England with West Ham United.
