Jeremie Boga said Sassuolo ‘are confident and hope to beat’ Inter at the Mapei Stadium this Saturday.

The Neroverdi have started the season in great shape and currently sit second in Serie A with 18 points from eight games.

Inter, on the other hand, have only won once in six games, but Boga expects ‘a physical and difficult match’ when the Nerazzurri arrive in Reggio Emilia.

“It will be a very difficult match,” Boga told Sky Sport Italia. “They’re a physical team and have many players of high quality.

“We know what to expect, but we are good. We are confident, so we hope to win and have a good game.”

Boga has played four Serie A games for Sassuolo this term, contributing one goal and one assist so far.

The Ivorian, who struggled with a muscle injury at the end of 2019-20, also missed three games at the start of the new campaign due to COVID-19.
