Empoli have officially signed right-back Luca Bittante from Fiorentina on a four-year contract.
He spent the last three seasons on loan at Serie B side Avellino.
Bittante turns 22 in August and put pen to paper this morning.
He has already begun training under new Coach Marco Giampaolo.
