“I would like to end the Inter taboo and we need to be concentrated in order to get a result,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
The Sea Horses have only beaten Inter once on home turf, in the 1983-84 Coppa Italia.
The Nerazzurri are certainly not in great shape, earning one point from the last three Serie A rounds and held to a 0-0 draw by Saint-Etienne in the Europa League on Thursday.
“I don’t believe in the story that Inter are struggling. Mazzarri is a very talented Coach and will be able to isolate his team from the pressure.
“We have to deal with a few fitness issues, but Almeida will be called up. Hugo accelerated his training regime and will get to experience the atmosphere of the Stadio Manuzzi.
“We are working on becoming more dangerous from set plays, even if we don’t have many who provide an aerial threat. I tried a few different options and we’ll be able to mutate during the game as needs be.”
