Former Udinese midfielder Morten Bisgaard says “Denmark has been looking forward to seeing Christian Eriksen in Serie A,” as the Dane closes in on his move to Inter.
Bisgaard played for the Zebrette towards the end of the 1990s and into the early 2000s, and spoke about the imminent Eriksen deal.
“I can see him doing very well in Serie A. he is a very intelligent player,” Bisgaard told Radio Sportiva.

“I can see him doing very well in Serie A. he is a very intelligent player,” Bisgaard told Radio Sportiva.
“He knows how to use the ball and he can score goals, it’s not easy to enter a league halfway through but in my opinion he can do well.
“In Inter’s midfield, in the 3-5-2, he can do a great job.
“In Denmark we have been looking forward to this day. There is a huge difference between the Premier League and Serie A, but Eriksen is a very intelligent player, adapting to Antonio Conte’s football will not be a problem.”
Eriksen arrived in Italy today to undergo his medical ahead of his €20m move.
