Genoa were expected to be his next destination, but it seems as if the Grifone have opted to move early.

Biondini, one goal in 15 Serie A appearances this season, joined the Stadio Sant’Elia outfit in the summer of 2006 after a campaign at Reggina.

The midfielder, a winner of two Italian caps while at the Stadio Sant’Elia, has also played for Cesena and Vicenza during his career.
