Atalanta technical director Pierpaolo Marino is working hard to sign Torino ace Rolando Bianchi.

The hot-shot striker has been placed on the transfer list by the Serie B side and Atalanta are keen on his arrival.

Bianchi, formerly of Reggina and Manchester City, is valued at around €10m by Toro, but the Bergamo based outfit are hoping to offer a cash plus player bid.

Marino yesterday confirmed that signing a new forward who could guarantee goals was a priority this summer.

Marino yesterday confirmed that signing a new forward who could guarantee goals was a priority this summer.

"Our transfer objective is to assemble an attacking department which is good enough for the top Division," Marino stated.

"Our target for the new season is to avoid relegation without any great difficulties, even if that won't be easy."
