Besiktas have warned Inter and Arsenal that Oguzhan Ozyakup will not be sold “until the end of the season.”

The 23-year-old creative midfielder is a Turkey international with one goal in 14 caps to his name.

“I will not change the squad during the campaign, as that would go against what the Coach asked us,” Besiktas President Fikret Orman told reporters.

“Selling now would only create confusion among the players. If we managed to win the League title, their value would also increase.

“We will sit down and talk to interested clubs at the end of the season.”

Ozyakup was born in Holland and therefore has an EU passport, having played for the Oranje at Under-17 and Under-19 levels.

It would be a return to Arsenal, as he spent time in their youth academy until the sale to Besiktas in July 2012.
