Federico Bernardeschi says he is dreaming of becoming a Fiorentina regular when he returns to the club at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has caught the eye during a loan spell at Serie B club Crotone this term, surprisingly earning him a call up to Cesare Prandelli’s 42-man Italy test squad.
“I am young and I need to play,” Bernardeschi said to Italia 7 Platinum. “It would be a dream to go back and be available for Montella.
“If it doesn’t happen now it will happen later on. If Fiorentina offer me a good project I will definitely stay, it’s one of my dreams.
“But I know there are a lot of great champions there and I might have to go and cut my teeth elsewhere.”
