According to Calciomercato.it, Coach Antonio Conte is considering the option of giving him a starter's shirt against Germany to see if he can keep up his good performances.

Bernardeschi had only played for Italy's U21 side and his game against Spain represented his debut with the senior squad. A solid performance against Germany could dramatically increase his odds of being called up for Euro 2016.
