Bernardeschi has impressed under Sousa’s stewardship and the 21-year-old praised the Coach, while speaking of his ‘pride’ at comparisons with the likes of Roberto Baggio.
“Sousa has made a very good impression on me,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
“He gives security and has charisma and authority. He transmits his enthusiasm.
“The first thing he asked me is to always be focused and work. The last? To stay calm and follow his suggestions.”
“Comparisons (to Baggio, Mutu, Antognoni and Rui Costa) fill me with pride, but I still have much to prove and I hope to do so. Baggio has always fascinated me,” the 21-year-old told Corriere dello Sport.
“I have great memories of the Viola Primavera. I have maintained relationships with friends and teammates.
“The reality show 'Young Hopefuls’? I didn’t want to participate. Capezzi will become a great player.”
