Milan President Silvio Berlusconi says he’s ‘optimistic’ about bringing Carlo Ancelotti back, and doesn’t want to sell the club.

The Rossoneri’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani is in Madrid, and is believed to have had dinner with Ancelotti last night, with the Italian having just been sacked as Real Madrid Coach.

“I hope that Galliani can bring Ancelotti to Milan,” Berlusconi admitted, speaking to Radio Capital.

“We’re optimistic, both myself and him [Galliani].”

The former Prime Minister also addressed rumours he is looking to sell the club, and insisted he’s only looking for investment.

“I’ve never considered selling Milan. I’m looking for someone to help me from a financial point of view, but at the moment I’ve still not found them.”
