Silvio Berlusconi admits ‘I don’t like Gennaro Gattuso’s style of play’ as he urges Milan to adopt a 4-3-1-2 formation, while Kaka could join Monza.

Milan have won their last three games on the bounce, scoring 10 goals in that time, but Berlusconi felt Gonzalo Higuain was being wasted as a lone striker.

“Elliott gives Milan guarantees and knows they can’t make a bad impression. They’ve invested a lot and they’ll certainly want to resell for a larger figure,” the club’s former owner told monza-news.it.

“Higuain’s the goalscorer Milan have been missing for years, but I don’t understand why he isn’t supported by a second striker.

“I don’t like Gattuso’s idea of football. I don’t understand why he adopts such a style. I’d partner Higuain with another striker and play Suso in behind.

“I’ll watch the derby on TV, but with disappointment for the formation Milan use and the way they play.”

The 82-year-old recently bought Monza and revealed Rossoneri icon Kaka could follow him to the Serie C club.

“I don’t watch Serie A anymore. Right now I’m only interested in Monza,” he added.

“I won’t rule out bringing some former Milan players to Monza. Kaka? Maybe?
