Domenico Berardi confessed his goal to beat Inter was “a bit of a personal victory” and remained vague on his Sassuolo future.

Matteo Politano’s free kick rolled under the wall and a Berardi solo effort secured the 2-1 success at San Siro.

“We went through a rough time, but knew this squad would emerge eventually. Now we want to end the season on a high,” the forward told Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.
