Sassuolo Coach Roberto De Zerbi says Domenico Berardi “is not on the market”, provided he doesn’t ask to leave.
The forward has been linked with a host of top clubs in previous summers, but after a poor season last year it appears only Roma are interested in taking him from the Mapei Stadium.
“If Berardi doesn’t ask to leave then he’s not on the market,” De Zerbi told SportItalia.

“He’s shown a willingness to continue here with enthusiasm, and we’re happy because he’s a player who can make the difference.
“Like Berardi, [Kevin-Prince] Boateng is a top-level player, though it’s clear they have two different ages and two different careers.”
