Sassuolo have been handed a huge boost for the New Year in the form of Domenico Berardi’s return to training.
Berardi had been out with injured knee ligaments since August, but he was back at Sassuolo’s training ground on December 30, where he partook in a double session.

The attacker was expected back mid-September, but weeks became months and the player had seemingly gone off-radar, with questions beginning to be asked of his mental state.
