“It is going to be a difficult game, above all psychologically, because Genoa don’t have the pressure of needing to get a result and can therefore play relatively calmly,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“This is why we need to get on to the field with the right mentality, consistency and intensity, the kind we showed in recent weeks. These are the characteristics that bring good results.”
This game is on Monday night because Napoli were in Swansea for a 0-0 Europa League draw on Thursday.
“Compared to Swansea we now have Federico Fernandez, Jorginho and Radosevic available. The next game is always the most important and delicate.
“I spoke to the squad for a long time about Genoa and the dangers this game holds, but that’s not news to us because we are well aware that in Serie A every game has its danger co-efficient.
“Genoa are comfortable in the standings and will certainly come here to play their game. We must do well to bring consistency to our performances and results.”
