While Serie C clubs have already voted not to continue the 2019-20 season, as most of them are in no condition to keep to the strict protocol, Serie B are ready to get back on the field.

Benevento announced today that all their players and staff, including coach Pippo Inzaghi, tested negative for the coronavirus.

They can therefore begin group training at their base from Monday May 25.

When the season was frozen in March, Benevento were top of the Serie B table with 69 points from 28 rounds, followed by Crotone on 49 and Frosinone with 47.
