Andrea Belotti admits he “put everything into that goal, my determination, my frustration” at ending a two-month goal drought.

Il Gallo hadn’t found the back of the net since December 22, so hit a screamer from 25 metres in Torino’s 3-0 win over Chievo.

“It’s always exciting to score a goal. Naturally, I did miss it a bit, but to be honest I was having some decent overall performances, so I wasn’t too worried,” the striker told DAZN.

“I put everything into that goal, my determination, my frustration and I am happy to have broken the deadlock in this game. We knew Chievo were going to be difficult to deal with, so when I saw the chance, I smashed it.

“As always, the fans were our 12th man and made a big difference. Now we are in there for European places, we believe in our chances and will work to get there.”
