Valon Behrami reveals Juan Manuel Vargas has apologised to Fiorentina for his ‘unprofessional' behaviour.

The winger was frozen out last week when staying out late before big games and not attending training sessions on time while on international duty with Peru.

“The Vargas issue is closed. Juan already has his head towards the next match with Catania,” said Behrami in today's Press conference.

“He is training very well this week and will certainly give us a big helping hand. I am also enthusiastic to be part of this squad and to play for Fiorentina, which is reflected in my performances.”

However, the Tuscans are not going through a good period of form and fans continue to criticise Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

“We've all got to be more decisive, especially in attack. Our fans expect a combative game with Catania,” continued Behrami.

“At the moment we are not playing good football, but the Coach has laid the foundations. The interpretation of each game depends on us players.

“It's not right to blame the Coach, as the responsibility has to be shared around when you are part of a group. I am aware that criticism is part of the sport, but you must also recognise the Coach has helped many players to grow here.

“He has a strong personality and says everything to your face, so some people don't like that attitude.”
