Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone said ‘the political and sporting institutions continue to hinder’ the investors and prevent them from ‘improving Italian football’.
The Viola director has attacked the Lega Serie A regarding the complications of creating the Viola Park, a sports centre strongly wanted by President Rocco Commisso.
“I’m sorry that there’s not the same enthusiasm that we used to arrive at this point,” Barone said at the inauguration of the works for the new sports centre, according to TMW.

“I did not find at that moment, the same union we have here. Political and sporting institutions continue to hinder people like us, who want to invest.
“They are making any effort impossible and I dream of having the Fiorentina that Florence and football deserve.”
