Fiorentina director Joe Barone calls for the Viola to be ‘determined, gritty and above all get shots on target’ in the Conference League play-off with SC Braga.

“We need a determined and gritty Fiorentina to get through to the next round. We must be very concentrated tonight, don’t lose the ball cheaply, control the tempo and above all create chances that involve shooting on target,” Barone told Sky Sport Italia.
Considering the recent poor Serie A form, with just one point from five rounds, the right hand man to President Rocco Commisso was asked if seeing Fiorentina play in Europe will provide motivation to invest even more in future.
“Of course, Rocco is always close to the team and the club. This experience in Europe is wonderful and travelling around Europe allows us to make our name better known.
“As for investments, we will reach the end of the season and then see what the situation is.”
