Giampaolo Pazzini turned in a Samuel Eto'o pull-back to give them a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the rescheduled Week 17 Serie A match.

“It is an important victory. We absolutely needed the three points and we got them. Fiorentina were among the form teams at the moment, but we stayed solid.

“Ours was a more than positive performance. We put Eto'o on the right to pile pressure on Manuel Pasqual, who pushes up more than Gianluca Comotto.”

The victory means Inter no longer have a game in hand and are in third place, just five points off leaders Milan.

“The Scudetto? We are going into a series of Finals from here to the end of the season.”
