“It will be an honour for us to play against Barcelona,” said the patron.
The Gamper Trophy match takes place every summer at the Nou Camp and the Blaugrana will welcome Napoli on August 22.
“The Neapolitan fans light up the stadiums, as wherever we have played, the Napoli nation have followed.
“For those supporters, this friendly will be a deserved party atmosphere.”
The two sides could meet again, as both are in the Champions League, Barça having lifted the trophy last season.
