It’s reported Barcelona will target Inter’s Mateo Kovacic when their transfer ban is lifted next January.

The Croatian playmaker signed a new deal at San Siro this season, but has still been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Now Tuttosport believes that the Catalan club are also in the hunt for the 20-year-old.

The newspaper states that Barca director Ariedo Braida was at San Siro last night for the Europa League defeat to Wolfsburg, and discussed Kovacic with Inter’s Piero Ausilio.
