The goalkeeper has been paired with a possible move to the Camp Nou outfit as a replacement for Victor Valdes.

However, the 29-year-old has outlined that he sees his future very much at San Siro.

“Do I find the interest flattering? I think any player would be honoured, but in any case it's in the past and I'm happy here,” Handanovic has considered this week to Sky Sport Italia.

“I only see myself at Inter. Nowhere but Inter.”

Inter have enjoyed a recent upturn in fortune on the pitch, with victory at Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”9″>Fiorentina last weekend a notable result.

“It doesn't mean anything yet. Like any win it's a boost for morale but it doesn't mean anything. It has made a bit of a difference, but not a lot for me personally.”

The Slovenian was asked about Juan Cuadrado’s goal for La Viola, which seemed to slip under his outstretched arm.

“Actually I don't think there's a lot to say. I don't need to comment on it. I'm happy with my overall performance, sometimes the odd mistake can happen.

“I accept it as I do all the goals I've conceded but I don't spend much time looking back. My thoughts are already on the next game.”

Handanovic was asked if Hernanes has provided a boost to the team since his January arrival.

“Definitely. Whenever a new player comes it always brings a bit of extra enthusiasm, although it's more on the outside than from within because we just keep getting on with our jobs.

“Is third place a realistic target? Hopefully it's a dream that can become reality.”

The goalkeeper was asked for his view on Inter’s defensive numbers so far this term. The Nerazzurri have shipped 28 goals in 24 games.

“If I'm looking at things from the ‘keeper's point of view, the number of goals conceded is always too high, but I'm happy playing with a back three – I was used to that at Udinese too.

“I enjoy working with Mazzarri. The main thing is that everyone is professional, works hard for the team and does what the Coach says.

“The potential arrival of Nemanja Vidic? I don't know him personally but I think his career speaks for itself. He would strengthen us yes, but I can't talk about players who aren't at Inter.”
