Max Allegri believes Juventus' Champions League 'inexperience' won't penalise them against Barcelona.

The Bianconeri will confront the Spanish giants on June 6 for their first Champions League Final in 12 years, and Allegri is looking forward to an open game.

“I think it's going to be a very difficult game, but it's a final,” he has told today’s assembled media.

“And the [Coppa Italia] Final on Wednesday showed us that a points differential can't close the match in advance.

“The final in Berlin is going to be no different.

“We definitely won't be penalised by our inexperience. I think this team is very similar to the one that played the final 12 years ago, in terms of personality.

“Then again, having a strong personality is part of Juventus' profile. We must prepare ourselves as best we can, and we must play well technically.

“When you play a game like this you can't think of defending or over-relying on physicality.

“I'll take a look at the team today and see who's the most tired and who needs to recover. Right now we need to play and to train, but prevention is crucial.

“Today I'll evaluate those who played on Wednesday. Some are worse off than others, but I'd say the team is doing well.

“They ran a lot, all the way until the end, and with great intensity. They grew stronger over the game.

“This is an important result ahead of the Champions League Final. But in order to sustain this physical condition you must train and play.

“Having said that, on Wednesday we played without [Claudio] Marchisio, [Stefano] Sturaro, [Paul] Pogba, and [Alvaro] Morata.

“So there are some players who are available for tomorrow's game. It's understandable that I must give someone a rest.”

The 47-year-old was also asked about the transfer market, but he dismissed these questions as premature.

“I haven't spoken with [Andrea] Pirlo nor with [Carlos] Tevez. I haven't spoken with anybody because we have an objective to think about.

“There will be time to discuss the transfer market, but right now it's of no use.”
