Barcelona are considering Juventus’ Paulo Dybala or Lorenzo Insigne of Napoli as potential Neymar replacements, according to reports.

The Brazilian forward could join Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days for a record fee of €222m, with the French side ready to pay his release clause.

That would see the famous ‘MSN’ frontline of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar broken up, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Blaugrana are looking in Italy for a replacement.

That would see the famous ‘MSN’ frontline of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar broken up, and Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Blaugrana are looking in Italy for a replacement.

Dybala would be an obvious choice, given the comparisons with Messi, though he doesn’t play the same position as Neymar.

Gazzetta also claims that Insigne is a target, after 18 goals and nine assists in Serie A last season.

These reports should be taken with a pinch of salt though, as both players recently signed new contracts with their respective clubs.

Dybala signed a five-year contract in April which made him Juve’s top earner alongside Gonzalo Higuain.

Insigne also signed a five-year renewal in April, stating “I hope to never take this shirt off”.
