Mario Balotelli has scored a landmark goal for Nice, their 3,000th in Ligue 1.
The Italian international opened the scoring in this evening’s clash with Lille after just five minutes, getting on the end of Wylan Cyprien’s corner to head in the opener.
It was Super Mario’s 22nd goal of the season in all competitions, but it’s also a landmark goal for Les Aiglons.
Balotelli’s goal is Nice’s 3000th goal in the French top flight, making them the seventh team to achieve that feat in Ligue 1.
