Mario Balotelli declared he is “proud to represent my country” after receiving an Italy recall against Croatia.

The Liverpool striker had been left out so far under Coach Antonio Conte’s tenure, but was included in the squad for this Euro 2016 qualifier at San Siro on November 16.

“Glad to be back on the National Team and proud to represent my country,” wrote Balotelli on his Facebook page.

It is Super Mario’s first call since the ill-fated World Cup campaign in Brazil.

Alessio Cerci, who is struggling to get playing time at Atletico Madrid, also earned his first call since that tournament.
