There are new reports this morning that Mario Balotelli could turn down Flamengo and take a pay cut to remain in Serie A.

Multiple sources stated late last night that Balo had worked out all the details with the Brazilian club, including image rights, on a contract to December 31 2021.

It’d be worth €5.4m per season for the 18 months, plus a €10m signing-on bonus for the free agent.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport now point out Balotelli is hesitating, as he has other offers from within Italy.

Before making the clean break to Brazil, SuperMario wants to at least consider the other possibilities, especially with Euro 2020 coming up next summer.

He would have to lower his wage demands, but there are offers from Hellas Verona, Fiorentina and his hometown club Brescia.
