It appears Khouma Babacar is set to stay at Fiorentina after turning down offers from multiple other clubs.

The Senegalese forward is reported to have been the subject of interest from the Viola’s Serie A rivals Udinese, as well as several English Premier League clubs, during the course of this summer's transfer window.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the 24-year-old has opted to stay put in Florence.

In spite of the seemingly imminent arrival of Cyril Thereau from Sampdoria, Babacar is determined to fight for a place in Stefano Pioli’s first team plans.

Attention will now turn to signing a new contract, with Babacar’s current Artemio Franchi deal set to expire in 2019.
