“It’s a pity to lose Sabatini, as we had a good rapport and mutual respect. He had already talked to me about potentially leaving, but the timing of his decision certainly surprised me,” Ausilio told Mediaset Premium.
“We are happy with Spalletti’s work, he is the present and the future of Inter. There’s nothing to worry about, we see how much he and his staff dedicate to the club.
“Icardi has also had three contract renewals in his time at Inter and we’re happy to keep him with us for many more years. We’ll meet up at the end of the season, there’s no problem, as there are another three years left on his deal.”
