Tottenham Hotspur right-back Serge Aurier insists “we controlled the game” against Inter, but laments a lack of focus.

The Nerazzurri took a dramatic win against the Premier League side at San Siro, scoring twice in the final seven minutes for a 2-1 victory.

“We controlled the game in the first half and in the second half we played well,” Aurier told BT Sport after the final whistle.

“Every player played well but we conceded two stupid goals. But we stay focused and we stay together for the next week.

“That’s a Champions League game. You have to stay focused. We played well, we controlled the game but we conceded two goals.”
