According to Sky Sport Italia expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Beppe Bozzo is discussing terms with the Bergamo club.
The left-back should put pen to paper on a new deal, with an increased salary, until 2017. He currently nets €400,000 a season until 2014.
Peluso was a Serie A revelation last term and he’s been rewarded for his efforts with three Italian international caps since the summer.
The two parties will also come to a verbal agreement which will see Atalanta consider any offers from top clubs for the defender.
