Atalanta have silenced speculation over Coach Stefano Colantuono by extending his contract to June 2013.
There were many reports around both the tactician's future elsewhere and whether the club wanted to keep hold of him after he earned promotion to Serie A.
“Stefano Colantuono is the right Coach for Atalanta and, considering the work done this season, it was our duty to extend our rapport of good faith for another year,” read a statement on the club website.
His contract will now run until June 30, 2013.
