Roma defender David Astori has reportedly suffered a first degree strain to his right knee and will be out of action for up to three weeks.

The centre-back picked up the injury during the closing stages of the Giallorossi’s 5-1 Champions League win over CSKA Moscow.

Whilst no official confirmation from the club has come through yet, speculation is that Astori has suffered a first degree strain in the joint.

Sky Sport Italia are reporting that this is likely to sideline the 27-year-old for between two and three weeks.

The club are also awaiting news on tests on Juan Iturbe, who suffered a suspected groin injury in the same match during the first half.
