Inter are growing increasingly convinced about making a move for Bologna veteran Marko Arnautovic this month.

The Nerazzurri have been evaluating a number of possible options to bolster their frontline in recent weeks after deciding not to continue pushing for Romelu Lukaku, who is now a key target of rivals Juventus.

Inter have made contact for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi but the Iranian wouldn’t come cheap and is not seemingly pushing for a move away, despite the fact that he’s entered the last year of his contract in Portugal.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the idea of signing Arnautovic this month is starting to gain steam at Inter and things could progress in the coming days. The costs of the deal for Taremi have contributed to this.

By spending less on a striker, the Nerazzurri would be able to invest in another reinforcement, like a new defender.

Arnautovic scored 10 goals and provided one assist in 21 Serie A appearances last season for Bologna.
