Marko Arnautovic has reportedly asked to be transfer listed by Bologna as Manchester United prepare an offer.

The 33-year-old Austrian forward had a great outing last season with the Rossoblu, scoring 14 goals in 32 Serie A appearances, and he’s keen for a change of scenery as he approaches the twilight of his career.

As reported by Resto del Carlino and Corriere di Bologna, Manchester United have set their sights on Arnautovic as they look for a backup striker to add a little more depth to Erik ten Haag’s attack.

In order to avoid missing out on the move, Arnautovic asked Bologna to transfer list him, but the Rossoblu aren’t keen. The Red Devils are seemingly willing to pay around €6-8m for the Austrian forward and they’ve prepared a three-year contract worth €3m net per season plus add-ons.

Bologna are not interested in a sale, however, as they feel that €8m is too low a fee to find an adequate replacement with less than a month left in the transfer window.
