Pablo Armero could make a return to Udinese after spells at Napoli, West Ham United, Milan and Flamengo.
The Colombia international joined the Friulani in August 2010 from Palmeiras.
He was sent out on various loans and went to Flamengo in April.
That particular deal is set to expire on December 31 and it does not seem as if Flamengo want to make the move permanent.
Armero would therefore circle all the way back to Udinese and this time he could stay.
The left-back turns 29 next month and made only four appearances for Flamengo.
