The transfer rumour mill in Italy on Wednesday is suggesting that the club who signed Samuel Eto’o from Inter last summer will make another raid on Serie A.
Lavezzi is a player who forms a key purpose at the Stadio San Paolo, but he is not an untouchable within the squad.
The Argentine has a €31m release clause in his contract which would allow a transfer to take place should any club meet that figure.
Anzhi, it is being claimed, are prepared to offer that for the South American and they’ll table a tempting contract to the player.
Lavezzi, formerly of Genoa, is currently earning €2.2m a season in Naples. Anzhi will apparently offer him €6m a campaign.
The international striker, 26, has scored eight goals in 24 League games for Walter Mazzarri’s side this season.
