However, the defender has insisted that his men have to focus on the next match against ‘revelatory’ Verona.
“There are a thousand reasons why the Derby d’Italia is a game with a distinctive flavour,” he wrote on his official website.
“We won the game and we did so with all our will – we did it as a true team.
“We’ve put another brick in the wall towards our goal of the Scudetto. Now we have another final against Verona.
“I think it’s safe to call them the revelation of the season and they are especially strong at home.
“It’s going to be a tough battle, because for them it’s the game of the year. They’re going to give 200 per cent against us.”
