Boca Juniors President Daniel Angelici confirms “Italian clubs are interested” in Jonathan Calleri.

The 22-year-old forward has been heavily linked with Inter, with his Italian representative also naming Lazio as a suitable destination.

“It’s true that Italian clubs are interested,” Angelici told Calciomercato, having been re-elected as Boca President.

“It’s true that Italian clubs are interested,” Angelici told Calciomercato, having been re-elected as Boca President.

“There are talks underway. Now that that the club situation is settled we’ll calmly assess any offers that arrive.

“That means written offers, official, not closed talks with agents.”

It’s thought that any club would have to pay around €14m to secure Calleri, with Dani Osvaldo likely to return to the club to replace him.
