Roma boss Aurelio Andreazzoli admits he thought they had won it in Udine when Pablo Daniel Osvaldo missed right at the death.

Erik Lamela and Luis Muriel were on target and Udinese” data-scaytid=”20″>Udinese went down to 10 men, but Osvaldo wasted a golden opportunity in stoppages of tonight’s 1-1 draw.

“I really thought at that moment we could bring home all three points,” confessed the interim Coach.

“I think the player made an individual technical error, but these things can happen. He tried all he could and you can’t always get what you want.”

Osvaldo has not scored for six weeks and started from the bench this evening, so has that miss further hit his confidence?

“I cannot know that, you’d have to ask him,” replied Andreazzoli.

“After taking the lead we could’ve dealt with certain situations better, even if the pitch wasn’t in perfect condition.

“Towards the end I replaced a midfielder with a forward, but nothing much came of the change. It was a tactical error when we conceded the goal.”
