“We gave our best against Torino,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We’re just sorry that we only have one more game left. We want to continue playing now that we are in this good run. The team is full of desire now.

“We are doing well from a physical point of view, and we believed all week that the result was never in doubt. We could have scored even more today, as Salvatore Sirigu was their best player.

“I’m very satisfied, we played the way we had worked on during the week, we got a lot of crosses into the box. We eased off at the start of the second half, allowing them to equalise, and that could have been a heavy blow, but we recovered well.

“We faced a team with 60 points, who have a lot of good players, but we swept them aside, and now we will go to San Siro next week and do the same to Inter.”
