Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton have announced that the team are under self-isolation as a “precautionary measure” after a first-team member “reported symptoms consistent with Coronavirus”.
The Toffees have been put in self-isolation after a member of their first team squad had reported symptoms related to the Coronavirus, but there’s currently no certainty of positivity to COVID-19 within the team.

Former Napoli and Milan coach Ancelotti took charge of Everton in December and the Italian forward Moise Kean moved from Juventus to Goodison Park last summer.
Everton also played against Chelsea last Sunday, where winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has tested positive for Coronavirus.
“Everton Football Club can confirm that, as a precautionary measure, its entire first-team squad and coaching staff are undertaking a period of self-isolation following medical advice,” the club wrote in a statement. “The step has been taken after a first-team player reported symptoms consistent with Coronavirus.
“The Club is in regular contact with the player in question and is monitoring the wellbeing of all players and staff.”
