Napoli Coach Carlo Ancelotti urges his players repeat the first game against Liverpool but “it depends on the opponent”.

The Partenopei beat the Premier League side at the San Paolo, and will qualify for the Last 16 of the Champions League if they avoid defeat at Anfield tomorrow night.

“I don’t know how Liverpool play, I know what we need to do to go through,” Ancelotti said in his pre-match Press conference.

“We have the comfort of the first leg, which gives us faith and conviction. I don’t know if we’ll be able to repeat that, because it depends on the opponent, but that’s what we want to do.

“I honestly don’t know what Liverpool will do, I know that they play with a lot of intensity, especially at home, and we need to be focused on what we need to do.

“That doesn’t mean we don’t want to play with intensity, we’re not here to wait for them. We’ll play our own game as we always do.

“Sometimes you can and sometimes you can’t, there are two phases and if we play well in both we’ll be in a good position to go through.

“We know what we’re playing for in this match, it’s the final step in a group where we’ve done well, showing personality.

“We can’t play this game superficially, the first game taught us a lot of things and we need to restart from that.”

Ancelotti was then asked if knocking out one of Liverpool or Paris Saint-Germain would give his squad confidence in the Scudetto race.

"We don't need this match to know how strong my team is, it'll just decide whether or not we advance in the Champions League or not.

"We've already done extraordinary things, tomorrow we need to play a beautiful game but our season will advance with our without the Champions League."
