Paris Saint-Germain Coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted he would like to try the “new experience” of leading the Italy side.

The former Juventus, Milan and Chelsea tactician spoke to Associated Press about the present and his future.

“Yes,” he replied quickly when asked if he would like to be in charge of the Azzurri.

“It's a different job to train the national team. It could be another experience.”

Cesare Prandelli has been heavily linked with the Inter bench should Euro 2012 not go well.

That could be some time in the future, though, as Ancelotti only took charge at PSG in December and is fighting for the Ligue 1 title.

“To win the league this year is our aim, because the team was at the top of the table for a long time. But nothing changes for the future if we arrive in second position.'

“When I signed a contract for Chelsea it was very clear. If I couldn't win I had to leave Chelsea. It was not a surprise.

“We have to improve all sectors of the squad; defenders, midfield and strikers. I think our objective is to buy three or four players, but with the right characteristics for this team. With personality, with quality, with character.”

The manager also confirmed an interest in Liverpool’s Luis Suarez after failing to sign Alexandre Pato from Milan and Carlos Tevez at Manchester City in January.
