Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly on Tottenham Hotspur’s list of candidates to replace Mauricio Pochettino.

According to The Daily Mail, Ancelotti is being targeted along with RB Leizpig coach Julian Nagelsmann and Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe.

That is because, as per the newspaper, Tottenham are planning to bring Pochettino’s five-year reign to an end.

The Italian has Premier League experience, leading London rivals Chelsea to a domestic double in 2010.

The Italian has Premier League experience, leading London rivals Chelsea to a domestic double in 2010.

His role with Napoli was recently thrown into doubt by a squad mutiny and he has also been linked with a return to Milan.

Despite that, Ancelotti is unlikely to be sacked by Napoli before the season is out due to an expensive contract, which does not expire until 2021.
